2+ years of hands on J2EE application server's administration experience.
Install and configure JBoss and OC4J application servers (Other app server knowledge a nice to have.
Installation of ear/war/jar/ sar files.
Expert-level knowledge of JBoss / OC4J concepts, setup, and administration.
Develop scripts to manage the environment and to automate repeatable tasks.
Integrate the application servers with monitoring tools.
Patch management.
Assist in tuning J2EE applications for optimal performance and general JVM tuning.
Basic knowledge of J2EE application development for troubleshooting, Deployment and operation issues.
Assist in troubleshooting application networking issues.
Assist in capacity planning and hardware sizing.
Strong technical background.
Comfortable with multiple OSs, primarily Windows.
Maintain OC4J web instances and supporting development activities for 30+ developers.
Excellent documentation skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
