ITEX, Inc. are looking to hire PHP developers to develop a number of small Web Applications and fulfill our custom programming contracts. You should be experienced in writing clean, manageable, commented code as well as interacting with and using MySQL databases. We are looking to form long term relationship' s with a number of programmers in order to complete our projects. We are looking for programmers who are used to working remotely and independently as well as working as part of a larger team working towards a common goal. The ideal programmer will have web design skills too.
Duties
ITEX, Inc are currently looking to expand our services and product range as well as completing our backlog of custom programming contracts which have been piling up over the past number of weeks. As a PHP developer you will report to ITEX Inc's Operations Manager. Your duties would include:
- Developing scripts for future resale by ITEX, Inc.
- Developing or updating scripts used internally
- Developing, testing, completing or editing scripts being custom developed for our clients
- Coding clean, efficient and commented PHP code at all stages
- Testing new releases to our current and upcoming new scripts.
- Web and graphic design as needed.
Detailed Requirements
Before you will be eligible for a position, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Ability to develop code that runs under both PHP4 and PHP5, which interacts with MySQL databases.
- HTML/CSS skills. We prefer clean, tidy and functional HTML/CSS.
- Expert with Prototype JS and JS in general.
- Expert with AJAX & Web 2.0 , Web 3.0 in general.
- Expert with Photoshop and the ability to create layouts.
- Good communication and time management skills. You must have good written English skills.
- Ability to be contacted via email as well as instant messaging services (GTalk instant messenger preferred, but Yahoo, MSN or ICQ are fine).
Future prospects
We are a fast growing company and so there will be the opportunity to move to a more senior position and take on a larger role within ITEX, Inc in the future. We will shortly be expanding into new areas and so we will require talented, like-minded and enthusiastic individuals to manage and grow these new areas.
Payment
